2013年，厦门为促进海峡两岸文化产业繁荣，围绕“文化引领，创新发展”的总要求，启动厦门文创发展推进计划。这是一项以文化为灵魂、以创意为手段、以产业为先导、以商业为支撑、以旅游为目的的系统化工程，整体推动厦门向创意城市转变。

In 2013, the city Xiamen starts up the new development plan for the creative industry, the main focus of the systematic plan is to regeneration of the culture industry in both Mainland and Taiwan. According to the combination of the culture resource, creative solution and tourism industry Xiamen will be transformed into the modern creative city.
DAtrans visited the urban creative clusters and branding outlets in June in city Xiamen, and discussed with the local investors on the future possible cooperation.
