11月12日，陈旭东应西交利物浦大学建筑系邀请，赴苏州做了题为“更新之后”的学术讲座。结合德默营造近期的实施作品，他重点介绍了事务所从概念研究开始到具体实施的互动操作过程，并与师生围绕“文脉、表皮和共生”等关键词进行了深入的讨论。

CHEN Xudong was invited to hold a lecture in Architecture Department, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University on Nov. 12 in City Suzhou. Based on the recent projects realized by DAtrans the lecture “Beyond Critical Reno” focused on the interaction between the research and practice during the process of the project’s development. The keywords reflected in the DAtrans’ works “context, surface and symbiosis” were interested and discussed intensively by the academic audience t.
