2016年3月，德国抽象艺术家苏珊·迈耶在上海M50艺术园区203Art举办了中国首次个人画展。在3月5日的开幕式上德默营造作为主办方邀请了著名诗人肖开愚和苏珊·迈耶，进行了一场诗歌与艺术的公共对谈。
她的作品以其抽象性打动观者。它们取法自然的同时又有一种高度的个人化的特质，最终成就了一种融合不同结构的有序整体，可以被想象成天空、大地、花草、植物或自然中的万物。整个作品通过标题巧妙地关连在一起，每件作品都浸润着苏珊·迈耶看待世界的深刻诗意。

In March 2016，The first solo exhibition in China of the German abstract artist Zuse Meyer was held in 203Art Gallery in M50. As the organizer DAtrans also invited the famous poet XIAO Kaiyu to have a public talk on the poetry and art of the artist on March 5.
Zuse Meyer's paintings and her divers works on paper strike one as abstract. At the same time, they reference nature in a broad yet highly individualistic way. The result is a cosmos of differently evolving structures, any of which might be imagined as sky or landscape or else as belonging to the realm of plants and flowers— or perhaps some other expression of nature. The whole of this work is subtly linked by way of its titles and every piece is infused with Zuse Meyer’s profoundly poetic approach toward the world.
